Spring 1971

We're closing

Jim and I are going to Paris. I will not open the shop this season.

I have packed the good silks. The rest can hang. Tere knows where things are. Judi has the key. If you telephone, 652-5916, she will tell you we are not in.

Los Angeles is too loud for him now. He wants a room and a notebook. I want the shops I already know — the ones I walk when I buy for this place. Paris is kinder. We will not be back this season.

Leave the candles. I like the room this way. Give the little horse a kiss if you come by. Love to all.
